Hybrid EMT Program – Summer 2026 EMT Hybrid Course

Start your career in Emergency Medical Services with the Hybrid EMT Program at Methodist Hospitals. This program is designed for busy individuals who want a flexible learning experience while gaining the hands-on skills needed to succeed in the field.

A Flexible Way to Become an EMT

Our hybrid format allows you to complete coursework online while attending in-person training every Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our Midlake Campus. This structure provides the perfect balance between flexibility and real-world experience.

Program Details

  • Start Date: June 1, 2026
  • Class Schedule: Fridays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (in-person)
  • Location: Methodist Hospitals – Midlake Campus, 2269 W. 25th Ave., Gary, IN 46404
  • Enrollment Deadline: May 31, 2026
  • Tuition: $1,400 (payment plan available)

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old at course completion
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Pass a background check
  • Complete the application and required documentation
