About Kaitlin Qualls MD
Dr. Qualls’ interest in cancer pathophysiology began during her undergraduate studies in advanced biology electives and deepened after witnessing the impact of knowledgeable and compassionate physicians on loved ones diagnosed with cancer.
She recently completed residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and aims to bring advanced radiation treatment techniques to her patients in Northwest Indiana while building meaningful relationships and learning about their lives beyond cancer treatment.
Clinical Interests
- Treating all disease sites, with a special interest in head and neck cancers
- Cancer survivorship, particularly reducing and managing toxicities related to radiation treatment
- Sterotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT)
- Gamma Knife – Stereotactic Radio Surgery (SRS)
- VMAT/IMRT
